Moving Shop

Hello everyone!

In case you haven't heard, I will be relocating my shop. I now know that my last day of trading at Abbie Lane in Highfields will be the 11th of November, 2012. 

I will then, all going well,  be reopening the following weekend upstairs in the  Blackforest Hill Cuckoo Clock shop 6 minutes drive north up the highway at Cabarlah.

In the meantime, trading will be as normal and I am happy to say that I have some new stock of silhouette pendants by Tina Tarnoff. They are very unique and would make a very special gift.

Now I know all of you who ordered the Christmas book are wondering where on earth they have gotten to- well me too! No, I do have a little information. When I ordered them many moons ago, I was told by JDL to go through an Australian company. To cut a long story short, the books have been "on the water" for what seems an eternity and all things going well should be in my possession within the next couple of weeks and then to you ASAP! Rest assured I will let you know of their arrival.

For all those who rely on the blog as they do not have a facebook account, I must apologize as I have not been entirely forthcoming on my blog posts. To keep you in the loop the above photo is of some new soap that I will have in the new shop - only a few weeks away now!

Open Tomorrow

Simple Things Small Joys will be open tomorrow from 9am to 4 pm for the public holiday. I have some new white china in stock for anyone that has the same addiction as me :)

 Hello everyone!

I hope you are all enjoying the start of Spring as much as I am. I just had to pick a bowl of flowers to take to the shop with me. For all those who may not know, this is the Carnival of Flowers week in the Toowoomba area. There's lots happening around here and I must say that if you haven't had a wander around Toowoomba's gardens, you are missing out on some very lovely flower displays! Due to the carnival and start of the school holidays I will be opening from Tuesday to Sunday this week instead of my usual Thursday to Sunday. I have however come down with a rather heavy cold so if it progresses into something worse, this may indeed change. Best call on 07 46 154 193 before you head out of Toowoomba just to check or maybe take your chances as there are plenty of other lovely shops in Highfields and Cabarlah to wander around. 

 The next- 9th edition- JDL will soon be on it's way and I will let you know when it arrives.

 I still have a few copies of Amazing Retreats ($55) left and just one French Atmospheres ($65).

 There is still time to preorder A Touch of France the new JDL Christmas book. These should be coming mid October all going to plan.
