a few little mother's day things

A glimpse of the shop as it is today...
I have a new little display that involves an old wooden box (that I painted at 11o'clock last night) filled with crinkled seam binding done up in a piece of vintage book page with an antique button.

I have also created a couple of unique gifts made from antique linen, antique buttons and vintage doilies.

Over the next couple of weeks I will be working on more charms for Mother's Day but here's a start. The two larger are $32 and the smaller rectangle is $26.

If you would like any of these please email me or drop by the shop.
Please remember that I am open Thursday to Sunday 9am to 4:30pm.

Easter trading and new things...

The new Spring edition JDL magazine is in and I still have some copies of
the last one if anyone would like one.

With the magazine came the latest designs in pillows.
These come with a quality feather insert and are $60 each.
They really are beautiful. The red is a lovely faded old style red.
Each pillow has two different designs so you can create a different look by reversing them when decorating.
I also have a few french style, enamel colanders for $30 each.
They are a large size and would look wonderful with fruit, linen or soaps in them.

Cloches are also back in stock and I have been slowly working on some more paper keepsakes. The cloches just set them off so beautifully.

The shop will be closed tomorrow for Good Friday but will reopen on
Saturday and remain open for Sunday and Monday 9am to 4:30.
Enjoy your Easter in this perfect weather,
Angela.
