Spoon Bracelets

A quick note to let everyone know that the spoon bracelets have finally arrived.

The New Shop

 Well here it is finally all done. It was such a beautiful space to work with so needless to say I have had a lot of fun with it.This is the view from the front door.

 I have some new Dharma Door baskets made from jute, string bags and a selection of book and e-reader bags. All fairtrade.

 This is my lovely daughter Erica who usually works for me on a Sunday. We spent the day together yesterday trying to get everything priced- such a big job. 

 I just love these cute paper ballerinas from Jeanne d'Arc Living ~ $6 each. They have a little piece of tulle and lace around their waist to add dimension and prettiness :) A very nostalgic feel to them.

The shop will be open again from Thursday to Sunday.

Opening Day at Black Forest Hill

In five very short days, Simple Things Small Joys has been relocated to Black Forest Hill, Cabarlah. I certainly could not have done it without the much appreciated help of my dad and mum, John and Erica. Thank you so much!

You are all now welcome to come and see the new shop. I just love it.  I have a little studio section in this one so I will  have no trouble now creating charms and some vintage paper wreaths and keepsakes.

I also have some good news about Touch of France by Jeanne d'Arc Living. I am expecting its long awaited arrival this coming week- YAY!

Have a good weekend and pop in and see me if you would like a nice country drive to Cabarlah.

A Glimpse of the New Shop

Well I have had a very long day moving all the things out of the old shop and into the new. My husband, John and my dad did all the carrying of heavy things and my daughter Erica, mum and I moved the small things. I am exhausted but happy. Tomorrow I get to start setting everything up- so very exciting!!!

This is just a little glimpse of what is in store at my new shop. I didn't really want to show too much :)

If you look down my side bar on the right, you will see that I have put up the new address, phone number and opening hours. 

Don't forget that this week due to the BIG move the shop will only be open Saturday and Sunday.

Shop News

Well it's all happening around here! 

In  this coming week I will be closing my current shop and getting my new shop ready to open the following Saturday. I think this week is going to go very fast.

In the meantime, I have begun post outs of the magazine and all should be in the post today. 

I have also found out that Touch of France should be here in two weeks. 

Wish me luck for the coming week. It's going to be a big one!
