Vintage Spoon Rings

A quick note today to let you know that the vintage spoon rings have arrived and will be available in the shop from Thursday.

As usual there are limited numbers so the quicker you are the more choice you will have!

Jeanne d'Arc Living July Edition

The July edition of Jeanne d' Arc Living will be here in the next couple of weeks and it looks like it will be yet another beautiful edition- but would we expect anything less! 

I don't know about you, but I have tried some of the recipes in past magazines and I must say that it's so nice to have a Danish take on some of the more common things that we make. There was a potato salad recipe that had capers and mustard in it and I think that it is now my favourite potato salad recipe. It looks like there will be something a little apple-y and tomato-y going on in this edition.

Copies are limited so if you would like one you will need to let me know so I can put one aside for you.

I still have quite a number of magazines to be collected from last time too. 

Don't forget that if you would like to catch the shop open you will need to be there between 9am and 4:30pm Thursday to Sunday.

 In store this week I have finally managed another selection of alphabet charms.

Rectangular charms are $20 and the 1 inch square charms are $24.

There is only one of each charm so if you like one please email me so I can put it aside for you.

Felt Hats and Scarves

I have some very beautiful, locally made, felted hats and scarves in the shop at the moment with more arriving tomorrow. They are in lovely muted, natural shades that are often not seen in felted hats. So, if you have always admired felted hats but the colours were always just a little too bright, then these are the hats for you!

Custom Charms

Back to the shop again tomorrow, hopefully to a couple of boxes of magazines.

I have been in the studio today creating a few custom charms. As promised, here they are so anyone wishing to order can see the design possibilities. One is of course for an 18th birthday, one for a sister and the last is a very special one. In fact, there will be ten of them. It is the calling card of their great grandfather's. Each one of the ten will be given on a special number birthday to each of the family members...what a wonderful idea. 

Oh, and the little one with the MOP button is just one I created to attach to a metal  sewing box that I painted white.

New Stock

 It's a wet and foggy day today but it's nice and cozy in the shop with the air- conditioning on.

 I have had some new stock in the past couple of days.

Quirky cheese markers made from vintage spoons, new gift cards,

 glassware,

 books,

 sea grass market baskets, 

bags,

 and baskets.

I had best make some more charms now. Stay warm and dry,
